There seem to be a lot of recovery options. Is there a way to disable them or offload them to a flash drive? Control Panel, System and Security, System, System protection to see the backup settings windows has. You can also go to Control Panel, System and Security, System, advanced system properties, and click on settings for performance, then advanced, Virtual Memory, and adjust disable that to get a few more GBs.
Take note that the backup is a well backup, but then again if you are running a very early OS here you’d likely be willing to take a risk to lose whatever is on that drive. Also the paging file can be disabled, assuming you have a decent amount of system RAM.
So you can squeeze a few more GBs of space out, but at a cost. I assume You’ve done the disk clean-up as well? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. I’ve done as you and zz3mystorys suggested, and it has saved me a few GB.
I guess my real question is this,. Is there anyway to remove it? This last upgrade install built a mb un-lettered recovery partition. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

I guess my real question is this, “I see that Windows 10 has built-in factory restore-ish recovery options, which makes me think that the install media is built into the OS.
In reply to TechHenson’s post on October 2, Windows 10 seems to store a lot of drivers. I came across a directory of 15GB worth. I found that 60gb was barely enough to update Windows 10 with. My laptop This site in other languages x.
